A Werewolf Boy 늑대소년 - "Love That Was Not Bound To Happen But Felt So Right"
Director: Jo Sung-Hee
Actor: Song Joong Ki, Park Bo-Young

I watched  this movie a few nights back. I had completely forgotten that this movie existed until my friend told about it. And I have to say...WHY...Why didn't I watch this before!!?? 내가 왜 전에 안봤어!!
lol well this was truly a heart warming movie. Usually, I watch the trailers of the movie before seeing it, but this time I didn't and I think that was a really good choice. I could only tell the context by the title and even then I didn't want to imagine what it was going to be like. And that was perfect. The concept of the movie was redundant but with a bit of change, the trailer actually dramatizes what happens. Its a very calm pace movie.

A werewolf boy is about a young girl and her family, mother and youngest sister, move to the country side in order for her to recover from her ailing lungs. They soon discover that the house they live in has a locked barn that is inhabited by a wild boy. The family takes him in thinking he is a lost orphan boy with a bit of lack of social skills. And so, the movie goes through the interactions of the family and the boy.

Now, my take on this movie. I really liked it. It was one of those movies that I will not get tired of watching. There was so much hidden meaning behind every action and personally, I really love movies like these. I was really moved by the acting of the two main actor/actress. Well, first the main actor Song Joong Ki is my all time favourite actors. He is right beside actor Kwon Sang Woo. Song Joong Ki did remarkably flawless acting with the talented Park Bo Young. Their connection together truly brought out the sincerity of each moment. This movie also reassures me that Song Joong Ki is a great actor and when he comes back from his mandatory military service, he gets much more opportunities to act. Plus it is a good movie about young love or even first love experiences. It brought me back to my first love memories and how innocent and unconditional it was. I cried so much in this movie it was so wonderful and I can feel every emotion the girl was feeling.

I highly recommend this movie for anyone wanting an international take on young love and fantasy.

So after I watched the movie I was having a fan-girl moment and looked up fan-made music videos of the movie or videos of Song Joong ki and Park Bo Young and I found two that were well done! I will share it with you guys. I can't stop watching them! :D

Courage

Movie: We Bought A Zoo

I recently watched this on T.V. This is probably the 10th time I have seen it and yet it never ceases to amaze me. I haven't seen much western movies in a long time so for the past few days I decided to browse around and see what is new. Some things caught my eye...other things not so much...but this movie always catches my eye.
The synopsis is told in the trailer, the family of 3 end up buying a new house that comes with a Zoo. So not only they have to take care of each other but also of the 47 other species that live around them. And so the journey begins...
I love the story line and the amazing acting from Matt Damon {Benjamin Mee, father}, Colin Ford {Dylan Mee, son}, and Scarlett Johansson {Zookeeper}. Every time I watch this movie, it always make me cry. Its so wonderful T_T

There is one quote that I have always remembered.
Benjamin: "You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage. Just, literally, 20 seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it."

When I heard it, it struck my heart...because I am some one that lacks courage and for the past 3 years I have been trying to gain that courage. I hardly had much courage when I was growing up but also I didn't need it as much. I always followed what other people told me. But as I got older I began to think for myself and decide for myself. However, as time went on, I discovered within myself that I lacked courage to do what is necessary within a pressured situation or even just life long decisions. So for the past 3 years I have been working on that courage so I can be a better person.
I really agree with this quote. I really think some times when life gives you big moments, all you truly need is 20 seconds of massive courage...and the outcome will be amazing! I, too, have experienced with those moments and I have to say...they are wonderful. Simply the most memorable moments in life. The ones that bring hope and keep one going.

Also, there is one thing that have brought me courage. {Picture}
I am using this picture from Donghae Confessions from Tumblr. Link
That website consists of many every day confessions about Donghae written from other fans. There are many that I agree with but I will make a different post for those. As for now, I want to share this one. Especially cause today was a not-so-good day for me and its mostly from the people around me that make it bad, I was in a good mood until half way. But at the end of the day, when I see Donghae's smile it makes every thing fade away. I am the type of person that looks at the little moments in life and this little moment will always capture my heart. Plus its one of my favourite pictures! 고마워요 동해 씨!

私はだれ?

One of my friends' posted this on a social media website and I couldn't help but agree with every thing that was written. I had been fighting within myself for months trying to figure out who I am and what I wanted from this life or whether the path I choose will fulfill me or represent me. But as soon as I saw this post it became clear to me. I may not be clear about what I truly want or what kind of life I want to live but I know what I have to do to achieve the life I want or rather need. I won't give up. I can't. I spent most of my life doing the thing that I love the most and I can't give up on it now. It defines me. It is me. And people will just have to accept that and if they don't then I wish some day they will.

Fate

Dialogue in the video
Do Min Joon [narrating/thinking]: My planet is named as KMT 184.05. I came from there. After 3 months, I can go back to my planet.
Title: My love from another star
Cheon Song Yi [Little girl]: Sir, who are you?
Do Min Joon: Who is this? You...Who are you? ...
Is there such a person that resembles so much?
If it is not a dream, I wish I get to meet her again before I leave.
Its not possible, right?

I've been listening to this song on replay ever since it came out and when I discovered that they made a music video of the Korean drama then I've been watching that on replay. I really love this song...the melody and the lyrics. Although the lyrics don't have any special meaning for me at this time, i still think the feelings of the song are quite strong. Also, I'm a fan of the artist's singing. Her name is Lyn. She has a very powerful voice. I'm so glad she sang this song. Now as for the drama...

The Korean drama is called My love from Another Star or My love from The Star. It is about a guy that comes from another planet and ends up living on Earth for 400 years. During this time, he meets and falls in love with a young girl, unfortunately she ends up being murdered. After 400 years later, he meets her again but he has to go back to his planet in 3 months. And so the story begins...
This drama is by far the best drama I have seen so far in all of my Korean drama watching time. This drama and another one [Answer me 1997] are the only ones that I can say are truly well acted, well written, and well directed. I like this drama cause they give the main character [the male] his own perspective on the planet called Earth. Its an outsider looking in and the viewer gets to see how a person from the outside would see the human race. It is a really neat concept, plus there are a lot of philosophical statements made and rhetorical questions about the world so I really love this drama for that. Just writing about it makes me want to watch it again. And my gosh! the acting of all the actors and especially the two main actors [male and female] blew my mind away.

Well I just thought I'd share this in my virtual world. Its nice to write about things like this....since I've been writing about depressing stuff before. I can honestly say I am a little better now...and slowly moving forward. :)

The moment of all truth

This sums up my emotions about my life. I discovered this feeling one week ago and every thing makes sense after that. I'm scared. I'm terrified. I'm terrified of making that one step towards the things that make me happy. I'm afraid that it might not work out or that i'm not qualified enough. I'm afraid of the change that I have to undergo because where I am right now is comfortable but it doesn't fulfill me. So does that mean I have to get out of my comfort zone in order to do the things I love? I think I already know the answer to that. But its so hard to do that. I think the fact that I realized this means that I'm getting one step closer to overcoming it. I haven't been out in the real world in a very long time and I have no clue how to do things or say things and most of the time I don't have much confidence in myself but slowly I'll learn it all....right?

お金や幸福...돈과 행복?

Today, my manager at work asked me a question.
"What matters more to you, money or happiness?" My answer was....Happiness.
Then we got into a deep conversation about money and happiness. I haven't had these deep conversations in months beyond months. I crave these talks a lot but hardly get chances to talk to anyone about them. So it was really nice to finally have a philosophical conversation with some one.
So back to the main topic....Money or Happiness? Well my manager said that most people he asked had said money or that they always hesitate to answer the question. I, on the other hand, didn't hesitate. I told him why I didnt hesitate. I didn't hesitate because I had already thought about this long time ago, and of course the obvious answer would be happiness but I didn't choose it for that. I chose it because thats what I really want from life. But also cause being happy is some thing I have control over. It doesn't matter what life I live or how much money I make but rather that I enjoy making it, right? I would love to be rich cause that would be nice but that also comes from working hard and being reasonable with money. Besides being happy is just a state of mind...so a not-so-well off person can be happy too, right? It all depends on how you look at it and what your attitude is towards the situation. I think it doesn't hurt to be well-off but everything comes with a price. I just know that I'd like to live a calm and happy life. I don't know how long it will be till I get that wish but I have to hope for it.
